The mission of Journey’s Dream is to convene, develop and share the most innovative, effective solutions for mental health. Each of our four founding members, Mark Hattas, Mitzi Montague-Bauer, Rex Montague-Bauer, and Breaha Wallin, have seen their personal lives touched, or even changed forever, by mental illness. 

Our holistic approach to mental wellness goes beyond treating symptoms, ideally empowering those living with mental illness to view their recovery as an opportunity for personal growth and transformation. We support this goal by offering programs and resources that include a comprehensive list of trustworthy physicians, Interactive programs proven to facilitate transformation through the application of simple tools, and an online community of mentors and peers who have overcome mental health challenges. Optimal Being, our flagship program, is a 13 week course that consists of individual self-instructional assignments, interactive online group instruction, and personal one-on-one mentoring.

Journey’s Dream is the preeminent project of the Hattas Shay International Foundation, a nonprofit organization that builds and invests in global wellness initiatives.
